Purpose

This document has been prepared to define the scope and content of Bitdefender products on-boarding and installation services after sales.

Service Scope

​These services encompass the integration of the Bitdefender  products into the customer's IT infrastructure and making it ready for use. The services include the following stages:

  • Customer Evaluation: Assessing the customer's IT infrastructure and needs.

  • Planning: Preparing the installation plan.

  • Installation: Installing the Bitdefender products into the customer's IT infrastructure.

  • Testing: Testing the installation.

Content

Customer Evaluation

During this stage, the customer's IT infrastructure and needs are assessed to ensure the optimal integration of the Bitdefender products.The evaluation covers the following topics:

Operating systems: Determining the operating systems used by the customer.

Antivirus software: Identifying the antivirus software used by the customer.

Devices: Identifying the devices used by the customer.

Security policies: Determining the customer's security policies.

Planning

During this stage, the installation plan is prepared, including the following topics: 

Installation dates: Setting installation dates. 

Installation responsibilities: Identifying individuals responsible for the installation.

Installation requirements: Identifying the equipment and software needed for the installation.

Installation

During this stage, the Bitdefender products is installed in the customer's IT infrastructure.

The installation includes the following steps: Distributing Bitdefender security agents. 

Product installation: Installing the Bitdefender products into the customer's IT infrastructure. 

Configuration: Configuring the settings for the Bitdefender products.

Testing

During this stage, the installation is tested, covering the following topics.

Verification of the proper functioning of the product: Checking whether the product is working correctly.

Process

The services are carried out in the following process:

  • Customer request is received.

  • Customer evaluation is conducted.

  • Installation plan is prepared.

  • Installation is performed.Testing is conducted.

Possible Scenarios

In the following situations, there may be delays or changes in services:

  • Unexpected issues in the customer's IT infrastructure.
